Zakia Khudadadi Paris 2024 Olympic Uniform By Afghanistan Girls
Woman Post presented limited memorial frames made out of Zakia Khudadadi's Olympic uniform.
Five Afghan girls from the Woman Post team designed a special uniform for Zakia Khudadadi, an Afghan Paralympian. This uniform is a tribute to the skills of Afghan women’s hand embroidery and textiles. The sewing of the garment took weeks of hard work which reflects both the dedication and talent of these young girls.

As a unique appreciation, Woman Post awards memorial frames, made from the fabric of Zakia's uniform, to a select group of public figures. Among them are Maria Ressa and Fawzia Koofi From the Nobel Peace Center, Aryana Sayeed and seven other influential individuals. These frames symbolize the resilience and strength of a country where women and girls are erased from society.
